The 240 Project
The idea behind this project is to do the highest quality turbo setup with very little out of pocket cash. This my buddy Bryan's car (one of the guys that help me with the Miata). Almost all the part have been donated to Bryan for the many hours of work he has put in on other peoples cars. the fuel system was done a couple of months ago preparing boost. It consist of SAFC, 370cc injectors, Malipassis rising rate fuel pressure regulator.

I made this manifold with just some scrap pipe I had. I welded all the tubing, milled it flat and welded in to the flange. The turbo flange will later be fitted | |

I don't think it could have turned out any better.. There is perfect clearance on every thing. The turbine inlet flange is angle so it points the down pipe in between the tranny and steering column. Not bad for $30 and a little time | |

while lifting the engine (to pull the oil pan) we noticed the engine mounts were totally separated and gravity was holding the motor in. Screw spending $230 on Nismo engine mounts we made these for $5 | |

Almost solid motor mounts. They are 2.125 in
diameter and 2.700 tall pieces of plastic, we used plastic for the only
reason I had it. The mounts are not as harsh as I thought they would be.
